Basis for sustainable success

Ever since 1958, the family-owned business based in Annaberg, Salzburg, has been manufacturing high-quality sportswear. Martini Sportswear, by now passed on to the second generation, is today managed by Lisa Moser-Hornegger as an innovative sportswear label and has been growing considerably for quite some time now, in particular in the sphere of e-commerce.

The customer is committed to minimizing the impact of logistics on the environment by making their processes as efficient as possible. Also, at the same time, a logistics service is to be established that will ensure a clear competitive advantage. More specifically, it is the goal of the management to reduce throughput times from order receipt to dispatch by setting up a new central warehouse boasting a high level of automation. We are especially pleased to be able to help with developing and implementing their logistics processes.

Sustainable, scalable, fit for the future

As regards the design of the central warehouse, our customer’s focus was on sustainability, scalability and future viability. Against this background, we have been designing the material flow as well as the warehouse layout, but also the processes. In addition, the requirements for the software to be used need to be precisely defined. A pre-existing concept for automated small parts storage was thoroughly tested. Moreover, our consultants are also responsible for coordinating logistics with other services and work out a central packaging concept.

Added value in more than one respect

Our logistics consultants provide added value for Martini Sportswear in more than one respect. On the one hand, our customer can rely on supplier-neutral and independent support with a view to both design and optimum handling of warehouse logistics involving all interfaces. On the other hand, they ensure that the building will be designed from a logistical point of view. Moreover, we will make sure that this solution will result in a high level of logistics service, so that the company will remain one step ahead of its competitors also in the future.
