Setting standards together
markta is Austria’s first digital farmer’s market. The innovative online platform serves as a place where regional food producers and direct sellers can be paired with people looking for high-quality and regional products. The boom in online shopping seen during the pandemic meant that the Vienna-based company had to cope with a massive surge in demand virtually overnight. markta has since been in a strategic collaboration with Xvise.
Workflows under the microscope
The reorganization project currently being undertaken sees existing business processes being analyzed and subsequently streamlined so as to turn them into easy-to-follow standards. The stated objective is to create scalable processes in line with a specific roadmap, putting markta in a position to be able to react at any time to external factors such as market fluctuations. Processes and process costs are continually adjusted here in an automated way.
The entire markta team is actively involved in the project, along with external partners who are responsible for transport and warehousing, and who also take part in workshops and process optimization projects led by Xvise.
From theory to practice
The processes are currently being gradually put into practice in close cooperation with everyone involved. The lessons learned during this implementation phase contribute to creating the “optimum process”.
Having processes that not only look good on paper but that actually make sense to everyone when put into practice is what Xvise is committed to achieving with its consulting work.
